“Team NOS” Chris Forsberg WINS FD Sonoma!

NOS Energy Drink wants to congratulate “Team NOS” driver Chris Forsberg! Chris took 1st place this weekend at the Sonoma Formula Drift event. With this win, Chris now moves into 2nd place in the point standings, and he is currently only 3 points behind the leader, Tanner Foust. With this third win, Chris ties Rhys Millen as the 2nd most winning driver in FD history!

Chris had a fantastic practice session and qualified 2nd for the event. The weather was in the mid 80’s all weekend, making it perfect for Drifting! With Chris hitting speeds in excess of 90mph on the straights, his Maxxis Tires gave him all the grip needed to take the win. For the final, Chris was paired up against Vaughn “JR” Gittin, the competition was fierce but in the end JR had some mechanical problems and had to concede. With the next event being held at Wall, NJ, Chris is definitely going to be ready with his “Team NOS” Nissan 350z!
